She bought the lure with her winnings from a tournament two weeks prior for taking 2nd place in the Junior Snapper division with an 8.4 lb Red Snapper. She was visiting her grandparents in Indiana on the day of the tournament and was not happy she was absent for their winning catch, but prior to leaving said, "Put it in the spread!"
