Annual Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Spring Beach Cleanup

April 20; 8-11:30 a.m.

 

Cleanup supplies will be provided. Participants should bring hats, sunscreen, water, and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. This is an authorized alternate duty location for 45th Space Wing civilians. Participants must pre-register by contacting Rachel Mandel at 321-853-6642. Registered volunteers will meet at facility 1360 next to the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Lighthouse at 7:30 a.m., where they will be directed to various beach access locations to pick up trash and debris.

 

Earth Day Memorial Tree Planting

April 21; 9-9:30 a.m.

 

A memorial tree planting will be planted to honor and celebrate the life of Retired Senior Master Sgt. Arthur Fetkos at the Patrick AFB Marina Clubhouse.

 

PAFB-CCAFS Earth Day Outreach at the Base Exchange

April 21; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

The 45th Civil Engineer Squadron will be on hand with displays presenting various environmental issues affecting PAFB-CCAFS and the Space Coast. Learn more about conservation efforts and environmental programs here.
