NCO of the Year

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tech. Sgt. Allison Williams, an immunization backup technician at the 920th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, was named the 920th Rescue Wing’s Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for 2016. Williams conducted training and maintained 717 shot records for eight geographically separated units. In addition, she managed the government travel card program and infection control program, led infection control and safety inspections, and jumpstarted the unit’s flu shot program. Williams assisted or administered more than 17,000 immunizations during 2016 and mentored another medical technician. While serving as a Citizen Airman, Williams earned 32 credit hours toward her bachelor’s degree in nursing and completed an emergency medical technician refresher and basic life support course.
