Rescue Airmen return from Afghanistan deployment
Approximately 50 reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing returned to Patrick from Afghanistan Feb. 8 after providing personnel recovery support to ongoing operations for the last four months.

The 920th Rescue Wing turns 60
It was originally activated on August 18, 1956 under its first designation, the 301st Air Rescue Squadron at Homestead Air Reserve Base, near Miami, Florida, becoming the Air Force Reserve’s first rescue squadron.
