Master Sgt. Brian Ball back to work
Master Sgt. Brian Ball, 920th RQW quality assurance inspector, was diagnosed with throat cancer on April 29, 2010. While his cancer is currently in remission, he must wait five years from the date he was diagnosed to be declared cancer free. According to the American Cancer Society, there are more than 100 types of cancer; statistically, half of all men and one-third of all women in the U.S. will develop a form of the disease during their lifetime.
