FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – First responder crews respond to an HC-130P/N King emergency landing after a severe fuel leak from an external tank in November, 2013. Master Sgt. Michael Silnutzer, 920th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief here, first detected the fuel leak during low-level maneuvers. The crew chief and a flight engineer transferred more than 6,000 pounds of remaining fuel from the tank to eliminate the hazard, before making repairs. Aircraft maintainers like Silnutzer, work tirelessly to keep aircraft mission ready for the Rescue Warriors here at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. (Courtesy photo)
