PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Capt. Catherine Correa salutes the incoming 920th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander, Lt. Col. David Cooksey here December 5. An Operation Desert Storm and Shield veteran, Lieutenant Colonel Cooksey was born in Jacksonville and entered the Air Force in 1985 receiving his commission four years later though the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Col. The 920th RQW is an Air Force Reserve unit which performs more than 20 percent of the Air Force's combat search and rescue missions. The Wing is comprised of 1,500 Airmen and flies both fixed and rotor wing aircraft: the HC-130P/N extended-range Hercules and the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Ryan Liss)
