PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Joined by fellow Reserve Citizen Airmen, family and friends, the new 920th Mission Support Group commander took hold of the group’s flag during an assumption of command ceremony, July 14, here.
Lt. Col. Adolph Rodriguez previously served as the deputy director of legislative affairs, U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Maryland, and is now commanding the 920th MSG.
The 920th MSG provides logistical, financial and administrative support to the 920th Rescue Wing and according to Rodriguez is a crucial part of endearing the wing’s primary mission of locating and recovering U.S. Armed Forces personnel during military operations.
He shared his excitement for the opportunity to lead the members of the unit.
“As your commander my first order of business is to let you know I am all in,” Rodriguez said. “I am committed to our nation, our mission and our people. I look forward to working with you and I am humbled to be here.”
