The 920th Operations Group is home to the 39th Rescue Squadron, 301st Rescue Squadron, 308th Rescue Squadron, and 920th Operations Support Squadron. The group trains and maintains the Air Force Reserve's only dedicated rescue capability by employing the wing's HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters, HC-130J Combat King II, and Guardian Angel weapons systems. The Operations Group is tasked to plan, lead, and conduct combined arms rescue operations and missions to deny competitors and adversaries exploitation of isolated personnel.
