AADD's objectives Our main objective is to prevent deaths, injuries, and illegal actions that result from driving under the influence. On the proactive front, we educate base personnel on the severe consequences of driving under the influence and the importance of having a plan. If the plan fails, AADD offers maximum availability within the advertised operating hours. Anonymity AADD volunteers do not wear uniforms nor use rank. Location, number in party, first name, and callback number -- give us this and we'll take you home. Do not worry; your information will not be used for anything other than making contact. Getting a ride To use AADD, call 321-494-RIDE (7433). For comfort, a greeting will reassure you that you have, in fact, reached AADD. Be prepared to communicate your current location and situation. Volunteering All grades of Airmen -- active duty, Guard, Reserve, retirees, DOD civilians, and even dependents -- can volunteer for AADD.
