Rescue Airmen exceed goal set for the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign season.
 
"I am very grateful but not surprised," said Chaplain (Maj.) Matthew Simpson, 920th Rescue Wing, "Our rescue wing family attitude has always been about helping people and this is just another example of that."

CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations. that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

"What a great effort by all; there are a lot of people who will greatly benefit from your helping hands. We thank you all very much," said said Brig. Gen. Anthony Cotton, commander, 45th Space Wing.

According to Maj. William Clayton, CFC project officer, 'Team Patrick' as a whole also exceeded their goal of $200,000.
