Ships ahoy
Spouses and civilian employers of 920th Rescue Wing Reserve members from Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., were treated to orientation flights on wing combat-search-and-rescue aircraft: the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter or the HC-130P/N King refueling aircraft. Their flight took them from PAFB north along Cocoa Beach, over Port Canaveral, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, then south back to the base. There were 165 spouses and employers who flew June 2. Members of the Air Force Reserve could not serve their nation without the flexibility and support of their civilian employers and spouses. The orientation flights help to educate them on the mission of the 920th RQW and their role in the nation's defense. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Don Kerr)
