New force support commander takes charge

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Maj. Jon Connerton formally took command of the920th Force Support Squadron here on Feb. 11. The ceremony was presided over by Col. George Raeder, 920th Mission Support Group Commander. Connerton is no stranger to the 920th Rescue Wing, having been in various roles since he joined the Air Force in 2000. He comes back to the 920 RQW from Duke Field, Fla, where he was the commander of the 919th Mission Support Flight from 2008-2011.
