Seven congressional staff members came to Patrick Jan. 7 as part of an official delegation designed to learn about the missions and history of the Reserve units in Florida. Members of the delegation included Mr. Adam Goodwin of Sen. Patty Murray's office, Wash.; Ms. Alicia Brown of Sen. Bill Nelson's office, Fla.; Mr. Hampton Ray of Sen. Marco Rubio's office, Fla.; Mr. Jared Stout of Rep. Sandy Adams' office, Fla.; Mr. Ryan Canfield of Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart's office, Fla.; Mr. Brendan Gehrke of Rep. Tim Walz's office, Fla.; and Mr. Rob Medina of Rep. Bill Posey's office, Fla.

In an effort to inform the staff members of the responsibilities of the citizen Airmen who work at Air Force Reserve Command's only rescue wing, the delegation were given static display tours of the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter and an HC-130 King, along with an informative briefing by pararescuemen of their mission. The tour was capped by a wing brief by 920th Rescue Wing Commander Col. Jeffrey Macrander.
