The King of Cocoa Beach

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  The view from the back of an HC-130P/N King refueling aircraft was phenomenal according to central Florida media who captured the 2011 Cocoa Beach Air Show from above.

Guardian Angel Airmen skydived out the back of the king into the drop zone drink that is the Atlantic Ocean for the practice day Nov. 4. The show is being held Nov. 5-6 beachfront at Lori Wilson Park.

The GA Airmen are pararescuemen and combat rescue operators, the only DoD members specifically organized, trained and equipped to conduct personnel recovery operations in hostile or denied areas as a primary mission, which means they're they guys who the Navy Seals call.

For the past 50 years our unit was tasked as the primary rescue force serving as guardians of the astronauts. Currently our aircraft and Airmen are deployed to Afghanistan performing combat search and rescue.
