Air Force Reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing here provided an interesting start to an otherwise ordinary baseball game, Saturday, June 12.

The combat rescue crews flew their HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter over a crowded stadium of more than 4,500 during the opening ceremonies of the Florida State League All-Star game.

Colonel Philip Manning, vice wing commander of the 920th RQW, threw out the first pitch to start the game.

During the seventh inning stretch, another 920th RQW reservist, Tech. Sgt. Jennifer Harris, sang, "God Bless America."

This game was just the start of festivities coming to this area. The 920th RQW will play a significant role in the upcoming Air Force Week 2010 across Central Florida scheduled October 26 through 31.

The Cocoa Beach Air Show, which is scheduled October 30-31, will culminate the week featuring a full-scale Air Force rescue demonstration featuring Air Force Reserve helicopters, pararescuemen and an HC-130P/N Hercules aircraft.
