Not only are members of the 920th Rescue Wing traveling nationwide, participating in extraordinary, if not legendary, public events while representing the Air Force Reserve, they're given the opportunity to share ideas and network while gaining command perspective through the Air Force Reserve Command Human Resources Development Council (HRDC).

Developed in 1992, the HRDC is intended to address every aspect of AFRC personnel. By 1996, every AFRC wing was directed to form respective HRDCs with their people, the "Unrivaled Wingmen," who "Fly, Fight, and Win," as their focal point.

With this in mind, the 920th HRDC's mission is to advise and make recommendations to the commander on any and all matters pertaining to human resources within the wing while concentrating on work force development, diversity, mentoring, retention, community outreach, assignments, and career progression. Now, there's even the "Friends of HRDC," a 501(c)3 organization accepting charitable donations and giving scholarships to help us help you!

With meetings almost every Unit Training Assembly weekend of its more than 50 members-and-counting, and its own Community of Practice (CoP) and Facebook page, the 920th HRDC, chaired by Col. Erotokritos Shiakallis, mission support group commander, actively involves itself both wing-wide and command-wide. The following events are open to all 920th personnel, per their commander' s approval:
