The 920th Rescue Wing's Eighth Annual Community College of the Air Force Graduation Ceremony, held on Nov. 3, 2019, inside the Base Theater at Patrick Air Force Base, celebrated the achievement of over 32 graduating Airmen.

According to their website, the Community College of the Air Force’s mission is to offer and award job-related applied science degrees and other academic credentials that enhance mission readiness, contribute to recruiting, assist in retention and support career transitions and professional growth of the Air Force enlisted corps.

Over the years, the college has grown in numbers and recognition. With more than 270,000 registered students, the college is the largest multi-campus community college in the world. Its affiliated schools can be found in 37 states and 9 foreign locations. More than one million transcripts have been issued in the last 10 years alone. Since issuing its first degree in 1977, the college has awarded more than 490,000 associate in applied science degrees.
