DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Senior Master Sgt. Jessi, 943rd Rescue Group, was recognized for her outstanding achievements in support of the command’s safety program as an NCO in the occupational safety discipline.
The award recognizes the accomplishments and innovations that reduced mishaps or increased the effectiveness of the mishap prevention program and incorporation of risk management principles and techniques.
Not only did SMSgt. Jessi manages and maintains her own program but she also participated in AFRC safety conferences and hosted an internationally recognized safety entity for other AFRC safety offices.
Jessi said she has met many highly skilled occupational safety managers during her time. “I'm thankful and humbled that I received this award,” said Jessi.
