PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --
As of March 25, 2020 at 4:30 p.m., in coordination with all Department of the Air Force installations, the 45th Space Wing has increased the Health Protection Condition (HPCON) from Bravo to Charlie.
This change is effective for all installations across the Department of the Air Force and is in response to the growing potential threat of COVID-19 spreading to local areas or affecting personnel at all installations.
The enhanced health protection level brings additional base facility closures, as well as mission essential reporting. Mission essential personnel will be identified by individual unit chains of command.
All other measures taken from previous HPCON levels remain in effect, to include social distancing, health and hygiene procedures, and quarantine and isolation as directed.
Patrick AFB currently has no reported positive cases of the virus.
