The 920th CF's mission is to maintain the highest state of readiness in order to meet wartime and peacetime commitments, and to provide the most timely and professional communications products and services. Additionally, the flight anticipates and prepares for developments within the communications field, to provide the most viable, state-of-the-art technological solutions possible.
The change of command ceremony is a military tradition that formally signifies the transfer of responsibility from one commanding officer to another, symbolized through the passing of a guidon.
