Wing announces Airmen selected for Stripes for Exceptional Performers promotions

The 920th Rescue Wing announced the selection of 10 combat search and rescue Airmen selected for promotion under the Stripes for Exceptional Performers program here Aug 25. 

STEP II is a program designed to recognize and promote outstanding Airmen who meet promotion requirements and have demonstrated their ability to serve in the next highest grade. Each year, a limited number of the nominated enlisted Airmen are selected to promote.

The CSAR Airmen selected for promotion, are:

“STEP II is an extremely competitive process where approximately 10% of nominees are chosen for promotion. Ten out of 20 of our combat rescue Airmen were selected. This outstanding success rate reflects the exceptional talent and dedication within our wing where average lives elsewhere,” said Chief Master Sgt. James Loper, 920th RQW command chief.
