Combat Rescue Maintainers, assigned to the 920th Maintenance Group, trained alongside C-17 aircraft loadmasters, assigned to the 349th Air Mobility Wing, California, to hone their upload and download procedures of HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters here, April 6.

HH-60 helicopters can be folded and loaded into various cargo aircraft for ease of mobility to support missions worldwide. This training opportunity provided the 920th Rescue Wing CSAR Airmen the ability to hone their skills, broaden their expertise and acquire a deeper understanding of the logistical aspects of air transportation, including weight distribution, securing procedures and coordination with aircrew.

The 920th MXG provides safe and reliable HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter and HC-130J Combat King II aircraft and mission-ready, multi-capable Airmen to effectively execute the 920th RQW mission. The group is comprised of the 720th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 920th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and the 920th Maintenance Squadron.
