DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --

Airmen from the 943rd Rescue Group participated in an M4 carbine rifle qualification course at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, May 3, 2025.

To obtain the qualification, Airmen were required to demonstrate proficiency and accuracy using both iron and red dot sights from multiple firing positions under varying levels of visibility to maintain mission readiness.

The 943d Rescue Group is a geographically separated unit of the 920th Rescue Wing; located at Davis-Monthan AFB.
