PATRICK SPACE FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Pararescue specialist, assigned to the 308th Rescue Squadron, worked together with Airmen from the 71st RQS to conduct Airdrop Insertion Training at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, June 5, 2025.
This training reinforces the PJs’ ability to deploy into remote or contested environments using both double bag static line and military free fall parachute operations.
The 308th RQS is an Air Force Reserve Command combat search and rescue unit capable of conducting full-spectrum personnel recovery to include both conventional and unconventional combat rescue operations.
The 920th RQW is AFRC’s only combat search and rescue wing, whose mission is to plan, lead and conduct military rescue operations and missions to deny competitors and adversaries exploitation of isolated personnel.
