Wing public affairs office wins three first-place command-level awards

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Florida -- The director of HQ Public Affairs, Air Force Reserve Command, Col. Bruce Bender, announced the winners of the 2015 AFRC Print and Broadcast Media Contest, which included three first-place finishes for members of the 920th Rescue Wing PA Office.

Maj. Cathleen Snow, chief of 920th PA, won for best news article, and 2nd Lt. Anna-Marie Wyant won two awards - best feature article and best documentation photograph.

Major Snow and Lieutenant Wyant will go forward to represent Air Force Reserve Command in the Air Force-level competition.

The 920th Rescue Wing PA Office and its staff have won countless group and individual public affairs awards, including multiple awards for Print Journalist of the Year, Publication of the Year, and two Thomas Jefferson Awards, the DoD's highest writing honor.
