PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 920th Rescue Wing Public Affairs Office is proud to introduce a new recurring feature: Flashback Fridays.

Each Friday, we'll feature a significant event and/or person from the wing's illustrious history.

For the inaugural installment of Flashback Fridays, we present the cover of the July/August 1991 issue of Moment's Notice, the official publication of the 939th Rescue Wing (predecessor of the 920th).

The cover shot depicts, fresh off the assembly line, the H-60 helicopter, which made its debut at the wing one month later. The H-60 replaced the legendary HH-3 Jolly Green Giant, used by the wing for personnel recovery operations since 1974.
