Timothy Bianchi, 920th Rescue Wing, spoke to enlisted rescue Airmen at the wing's enlisted call in the base theater Aug. 4, 2013. Bianchi and other wing chiefs discussed matters specifically pertaining to Airmen grades E-1 through E-9, ending the call by answering questions from the audience. This was Bianchi's second enlisted call since he became the 920th RQW command chief in 2012. The command chief organizes one enlisted call per year. As the wing's highest ranking enlisted member, Bianchi advises the wing commander on matters concerning the morale, health, welfare, effective use, training and progress of the enlisted corps of the 920th RQW, including its geographically separated units: the 943rd Rescue Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.; and the 304th Rescue Squadron, Portland International Airport, Ore. He also serves as the commander's representative to numerous committees, councils, boards and military and civilian functions.
