The Patriot Guard Riders visit Air Force Reservists attending a Yellow Ribbon program in Orlando. The YR program is for Airmen who recently returned from a deployment, or are getting ready to deploy, and selected family members. It was created to provide a level of stability and support to Airmen while deployed (during deployment), and successful re-integration techniques after the deployment cycle ends (post deployment). The PGR's came to show their support to the military families. According to their web site, their mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission has two basic objectives:1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors. They accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
