The Patrick Air Force Base community came out in full force to honor Master Sgt. William Posch upon arriving home to Patrick Air Force Base April 3, 2018 at noon. The entire base lined the streets of Patrick Air Force Base to pay respects to him and his family for their ultimate sacrifice during his dignified transfer. Posch, 36, was one of two Pararscuemen the wing lost March 15, 2018 when they were killed in action during an overseas combat deployment to Iraq. Staff Sgt. Carl Enis, 31, was the other. Among the motorcade escorts were Brevard County Sheriff deputies. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Master Sgt. William Posch arrived home to Patrick Air Force Base April 3, 2018 at noon after being killed in action in Iraq last month where he was met by his family and the community. Posch, an Indialantic, Florida, resident, had 18 years of service, the last ten of which were with the 920th Rescue Wing. Among his decorations were the Air Medal with silver oak leaf cluster; an Aerial Achievement Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal with Valor. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal with Combat device posthumously. (U.S. Air Force photo)
