Combat-search-and-rescue pilot Capt. Jason Tomas, 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., wears combat gear during one of his three deployments to Afghanistan. Tomas finished his first ultra-marathon of 50 miles from the marathon training he put himself through during his overseas deployments.
