Key deer
During a 50-mile run through the Florida Keys, Capt. Jason Tomas, HH-60G Pave Hawk pilot, 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., helped rescue a key deer from being hit by a car. Key deer can be recognized by their characteristic size, smaller than all other white-tailed deer. (Courtesy photo Kaili and Alani Tomas)
