After belting out the national anthem at the May 5 Rocketman Triathlon, Air Force Reservist Senior Airman Caitlin Novell, 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., posed with one the participants, Sister Madonna, otherwise known at the the Iron Nun. Not only did Sister Madonna give the invocation, but at 82, she also participated in, and finished the triathlon. During the opening ceremony, 1,600 athletes from around the globe gathered to pay respect to the nation, and pay tribute to the Boston Marathon bombing victims who were killed or injured during a terrorist attack at the finish line April 15.
