Staff Sgt. Ricardo Miguez, helicopter maintenance reservist, 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., performs an operations check on a helicopter before flight. Rescue reservists here have a rigorous training schedule that includes flying day and night to maintain their life-saving qualifications. Maintenance on this fleet of aircraft is a full time job. In addition to the fleet at PAFB, the 920th RQW also has HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters and reserve maintenance crews at its geographically separated units, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., and a rescue squadron at Portland International Airport, Ore.
