Integrating their C-130 transport aircraft into heavy air traffic flow along with Navy fighter jets at Key West Naval Air Station added to the stressors of competing in an international search and rescue exercise for U.S. and Canadian SAR forces this winter. The U.S. Airmen deployed from Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., while the Canadian Airmen deployed from 17 Wing, Winnipeg. The international exercise is set annually to allow the Airmen to pool resources and sharpen their SAR skills. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Cathleen Snow)
