Space shuttle Endevour is back home
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla.- Space shuttle Endeavour on the STS-134 mission made its final landing at the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Endeavour, completed a 16-day mission to outfit the International Space Station. Rescue Wing Airmen from the Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing Patrick Air Force Base, Fl., put the finishing touches on a successful launch of space shuttle Endeavour as they ventured into the dark during the early morning hours of June 1 to serve as guardians of the astronauts upon its final return from space.
