PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Lt. Col. Joseph Alcorn, Air Force Reserve helicopter pilot and the new commander of the 301st Rescue Squadron here, stands in front of an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter. Colonel Alcorn assumed command of the 301st RQS May 19, at a change of command ceremony. The 301st RQW is a helicopter squadron which falls under the 920th Rescue Wing - a combat search and rescue unit dedicated to rescuing service members off the battlefield during combat using the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter.
