Airmen respond to helo crash
DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. - Air Force Reserve combat rescue officers and pararescuemen from the 943rd Rescue Group here, responded to an Arizona Sheriff's helicopter crash in the Waterman mountains, northwest of Tuscon. The Airmen used their combat rescue skills to provide medical aid to the surivors who were then airlifted by Airmen piloting two HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters from the 943rd RQG. They airlifted the survivors to a nearby hospital. The crash killed one and injured three others. (Arizona Daily Star photo/Mr. Dean Knuth)
