Fast Rope Demo
PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Pararescuemen from the 920th Rescue Wing showcase their rescue skills during a demonstration at the Cocoa Beach Pier during Air Force Week here. The pararescuemen will be performing at the Cocoa Beach Air Show, October 30-31, 2010. PJs go through extensive training to get and maintain their many qualifications. Each PJ is an expert SCUBA diver, mountaineer, marksman and parachutist. Not to mention their main job - to save a life. Throughout their careers they must obtain and maintain emergency medical/paramedic qualifications. This is one of many of the careers offered in the Air Force Reserve.
