Geared up for action

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- U.S. Air Force Reserve Aerial Gunners rely on a long list of protective and supportive gear to carry out their mission aboard the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter. The 920th Rescue Wing's 301st Rescue Squadron Airmen here train consistently and are ready to rescue at a moment's notice; whether it's a humanitarian mission to save someone in distress locally or atop Mt. Hood or whether it's in response to a natural disaster, like Hurricane Katrina, when the 920th Rescue Wing gets the call; no matter what type; there is usually little time to spare and we are there.
