Stokes litter hoist

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. ? Reserve pararescuemen from the 920th Rescue Wing here train daily for potential rescues they may be called upon to perform. Stabilizing a survivor and then hoisting them up into the awaiting HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter, was the training scenario August 18, 2010. PJs are expected to perform emergency medical techniques while in any environment. This medical and rescue expertise, along with their deployment capabilities, allows PJs to perform life-saving missions anywhere in the world, at any time. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ms. Jen Macklin)
