Passing the guidon

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Col. Christopher Hannon, 920th Rescue Wing Operations Group Commander, passes the guidon, and command of the 308th Rescue Squadron to Lt. Col. Kurt Matthews during a change of command ceremony here. The 308th RQS is home to combat rescue officers (CROs), pararescuemen (PJs) and survive, evade, resist and escape specialists (SERE) - all of which fall under the Guardian Angel Weapon System (GAWS).
