17 WING WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, Canada - Canadian search and rescue technicians work hand-in-hand with 920th Rescue Wing reserve pararescuemen or PJs during the 2010 Grand Prairie search and rescue exercise May 14-18. The Reservists from the 920th RQW, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., put their training to the test extracting "victims" from mountainous terrain which which is not available for training in the Florida flatlands. The 920th RQW is the most called upon unit in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Its mission is combat search and rescue, civilian search and rescue and astrounaut shuttle and rocket launch support.
