Civil Air Patrol tours Rescue Wing
A group of Florida Civil Air Patrol cadets visited the Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing December 1. During their visit the director of operations, Lt. Col. Jeff Hannold, 39th Rescue Squadron, educated them on the extended-range HC-130P/N Hercules refueling aircraft. The aircraft is used for search and rescue efforts in addition to extending the range of HH-60 Pave Hawk Helicopters during search and rescue missions. The cadets had the chance to go inside the aircraft's fuselage as well. They finished the morning with lunch at the Patrick Air Force Base Dining Facility.
