Pararescuemen ready for space shuttle launch support
After dawning and adjusting his own parachute, 308th Rescue Squadron pararescueman Master Sgt. Alexander Abbey double checks a fellow pararescueman before boarding an HC-130 aircraft where they will perform a free fall jump into the Banana River to accomplish high profile training, referred to as a RAMZ (Rigging Alternate Method Zodiac), which prepares the pararescuemen for for open water rescue and recovery.
