PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Citizen Airman and modern-day pioneer Senior Master Sgt. Kevin Zimmerman gets ready to climb inside the Space Shuttle Atlantis wearing a sterile suit where he works as the mid-body electrical lead. When he's not sending shuttles into space, he serves as an HC-130P/N Combat Radio Operator with the 920th Rescue Wing here. The shuttle Atlantis is set to return to Earth May 23 after mission specialists completed the fifth and final mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope. Throughout his 23-career with United Space Alliance (USA), NASA's lead contractor, he has supported a long list of notable space missions, to include Atlantis's Maiden Voyage.
