PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Col. George Pierce, commander of maintenance for the 920th Rescue Wing, Air Force Reserve command, threw out the first pitch during a military appreciation day at the Space Coast Stadium in central Florida. The Washington Nationals beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 during the spring training game that honored the local military.
