Heroes and Hardware

PATRICK AFB, Fla. -- Air Force Reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing here showcased their heroes and hardware for civilian employers of Air Force Reservists and Reservists’ family members during their June training weekend. Every year the 920th RW invites employers and family members to the wing to get a glimpse of the mission. The 920th RW is the only Air Force Reserve Wing that performs combat search and rescue which keeps its Airmen busier than an average Air Force Reserve Wing. The Wing is comprised of 1,200 Airmen and flies both fixed and rotor wing aircraft. It maintains 6 HC-130P/N extended-range Hercules aircraft and 9 HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters.
