TUCSON, Ariz. -- Staff Sgt. Tim Parrish, 943rd Maintenance Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., shakes hands with Mr. Roy Ivans, U.S. Navy veteran, after thanking him for his service during the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Celebration at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, Tucson, Ariz., Feb. 11, 2009. He and 11 other Air Force Reservists and their families from the 943rd Rescue Group visited with the veterans during this celebration. Everyone handed out valentines, made by local school children, and blankets, made by VA volunteers, to the veteran patients.
