Not on Our Watch '08

The Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing will continue to live up to its motto, "that others may live," as the wing hosts Operation Not on Our Watch (NOW) for the third straight year here April 1 - 3 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. each day. This three-hour, in-your-face program will be presented to Brevard County's '08 High School seniors on the tragic results of careless driving in a visually graphic nature. "The students will experience and emotionally-filled time with real-life re-enactments geared toward traffic safety," said Senior Master Sgt. Rene Rubiella, Operation NOW Program Director. On April 9, 2005 his only daughter, Alexandra Rubiella, who was 18-years-old at the time, was killed in a cross over collision with another vehicle as the result of careless driving.
